About the role

ING Australia’s Wholesale Bank is hiring analysts for its Acquisition Finance (AF) and Loan Distribution Group (LDG) teams in Sydney. You will work on live leveraged loan and syndicated loan transactions, supporting senior bankers and gaining exposure to complex capital‑market deals across APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination by preparing pitch books, market research, capital‑structure reviews and other marketing materials.
• Assist in executing live transactions, including financial modelling, business and market analysis, liquidity analysis, credit applications and due‑diligence reviews.
• Support syndication processes: prepare syndication materials, manage Q&A and maintain dialogue with banks and loan investors.
• Collaborate with sector teams, DCM, Financial Markets and Corporate Finance (M&A) to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ING policies, regulatory and ethical standards.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, loan capital markets or related financial services.
• Strong analytical capability and exceptional attention to detail.
• Motivation to learn, take on responsibilities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Desire to build a long‑term career in capital markets.
