About the role
DNA Medical is recruiting an anaesthetist locum for a regional Queensland hospital in Rockhampton. Block dates are available from October 2026 through to January 2027, with a mix of weekday and weekend on-call duties.
Key details
- Block dates: 19 Oct 2026 - 31 Jan 2027 (two positions), with several shorter blocks within that period.
- Rate: FANZCA $2,650-$2,800 per day.
- Day shift 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid meal break; at least one on-call shift per week, with fatigue management after on-call duties.
- Provided: return economy travel, solo self-contained accommodation and a vehicle.
Required profile
- FANZCA specialist preferred; provisional fellows considered to help cover roster gaps.
- AHPRA registration required.
