Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - MQ-4C Triton

About the role

Northrop Grumman Australia is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at RAAF Base Tindal, Northern Territory, to help bring the next generation of unmanned aircraft into service. The team keeps the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems mission-ready, every time, and relocation assistance may be available.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Triton UAS to ensure safety, reliability and airworthiness.
• Work with a new team to deliver multiple serviceable aircraft on time and to standard.
• Identify tooling, manpower and facility needs and solve technical and logistics challenges.
• Ensure launch and recovery operations meet operational requirements in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week flying program.
• Report and follow up on major defects and ensure documentation accuracy.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship is required; international traffic in arms regulations apply and a Defence security clearance is needed.
• Cert IV in Aeroskills or industry equivalent.
• Experience in aviation maintenance and ability to hold and maintain a PV security clearance.
• Open to relocating to Katherine, NT.
