Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics

About the role

Northrop Grumman Australia's Triton Program is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) to support the ADF's maritime surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. You will apply avionics or mechanical expertise to complex maintenance tasks on critical defence aircraft, leading both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance so each aircraft stays mission ready. The role involves travel of about 10% of the time.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship is required; international traffic in arms regulations apply, so nationality may affect suitability.
• A certificate IV in Aeroskills.
• Experience in an avionics or mechanical trade.
• Ability to hold and maintain an AGSVA security clearance.
• Competency in aircraft systems, AMD and local work instructions.
• Police checks and employment screening verification.
