Agile Delivery Lead

About the role

The Agile Delivery Lead will drive the delivery of digital initiatives for ANZ's Business & Private Bank division. Working across multiple squads, you will foster a high‑performance culture, remove impediments, and ensure continuous value delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coach squads and Product Owners in Agile/Scrum to raise maturity and self‑organisation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies with a focus on outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Manage flow, dependencies, risks and impediments to enable predictable delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners to keep backlogs clear, prioritised and value‑driven.
• Support planning, estimation, cross‑squad alignment and governance readiness.
• Use delivery and value metrics to drive transparency and improvement.
• Act as a trusted connector between delivery teams and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks and practices.
• Proven experience coaching squads to improve delivery effectiveness.
• Practical delivery‑management capability (planning, dependencies, risks, metrics).
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and evolving priorities.
• Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Experience working across multiple squads or value streams.
• Exposure to complex initiatives with multiple dependencies and governance constraints.
• Familiarity with Agile tooling and delivery metrics.
