About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team at St Jude’s Aged Care. In this role you will help create a safe, home‑like environment for residents and support their daily living needs.

Key responsibilities

Deliver care based on each resident’s goals, needs and preferences.
Assist with personal care, daily living tasks and medication administration.
Prepare and serve meals, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for residents and staff.
Participate in feedback, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

Previous experience in residential aged‑care or similar settings.
Empathetic, caring nature with a genuine joy in supporting others.
Team‑player attitude committed to enhancing resident independence.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Required skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (desirable).
