Aged Care Centre Manager (50-bed facility)

About the role

The Salvation Army is recruiting an Aged Care Centre Manager for its Bethesda Aged Care Centre in Rockhampton, a 50-bed single-level residential facility offering all levels of care including short-term respite. The manager leads the centre's operations and reports to an experienced Area Manager, supported by a Clinical Care Coordinator and a multidisciplinary team of care staff including RNs, CSEs and Lifestyle workers.

Key responsibilities

• Operational management of the centre, including compliance, staff management, financial management, occupancy and AN-ACC requirements.
• Support the needs of residents while maintaining high standards and strong financial stewardship.
• Collaborate with the Support Services team and specialist aged care professionals.

Required profile

• Unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse through AHPRA.
• Demonstrated experience managing a residential aged care home financially.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and professional standards.
• Knowledge of AN-ACC, occupancy, people management and budget controls.
• National NDIS Workers Screening Check.
