After-Hours On-Call Registered Nurse (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our after‑hours clinical team on a remote, on‑call basis. You will provide critical‑care expertise to field nurses, troubleshooting patient requests and supporting our Complex Care and Hospital‑in‑the‑Home divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound after‑hours calls from field nurses and provide clinical guidance.
• Troubleshoot complex patient situations, including ventilated patients, remotely.
• Support the Complex Care and Hospital‑in‑the‑Home programs with timely advice.
• Document interactions and follow‑up actions in accordance with clinical standards.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Critical Care or ICU, including ventilated patient management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with nurses and carers.
• Experience with staff rostering and availability to work Monday‑Wednesday, 4:30 pm–8:00 am.
