Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner - Sydney

About the role

A growing allied health organisation in Sydney is looking for an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner to deliver complex behaviour support services, provide clinical mentorship and help develop and sustain its BSP services. The position is full time, based in Sydney and community based, with limited travel within a 30-minute radius of your location.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality behaviour support services to participants with complex needs
• Complete assessments, functional behaviour assessments and behaviour support plans
• Deliver ongoing monitoring, implementation support and review of plans
• Maintain high clinical standards and contribute to service improvement
• Provide community-based services within your local area

Required profile

• Advanced Practitioner status under the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
• Demonstrated experience in complex behaviours and restrictive practice
• Strong clinical reasoning
• Background in psychology, social work or a related discipline
• Valid driver's licence and ability to travel locally
