Administration Officer – Part-Time

About the role

Parramatta State School is seeking a part‑time Administration Officer to support daily school operations. You will work within a welcoming team delivering exceptional service to students, staff and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day management support for school support staff, including recruitment, induction and training.
• Interpret departmental and school policies, ensuring legislative and procedural compliance.
• Assist the Principal/Executive Principal/Business Manager with workforce planning, staff data tracking and compliance training.
• Monitor support‑staff workloads, identify skill needs and flag performance issues to senior leadership.
• Coordinate injury‑management support for staff where required.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative or support‑staff coordination within an education setting.
• Ability to interpret and apply school policies and legislative requirements.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record‑keeping and data management.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with principals, managers and staff.
