Administration Officer – 12‑Month Fixed Term

About the role

The Administration Officer supports the daily operations of the Kings Meadows branch, acting as the first point of contact for customers and visitors. This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers a chance to develop administrative and customer‑service expertise within Australia’s leading forklift company.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and direct repair and service enquiries, arranging technician visits for breakdown calls.
• Assist the Branch Manager with weekly reporting and administrative tasks.
• Handle spare‑parts enquiries, quoting, and order processing in the absence of senior staff.
• Allocate breakdowns, scheduled maintenance, and repairs to field service technicians.
• Coordinate sub‑let activities, ensuring hourly meter readings are captured for prepaid service contracts.
• Support invoicing of customer damage, tyre replacements, and consumables in line with rental contracts.
• Maintain accurate unit history data in the computer system.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in an administration or clerical role.
• Previous exposure to the material handling or service industry is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external customers.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and ethically.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer literacy.
