Activities Manager – Wilpena Resort

About the role

We are looking for an Activities Manager to lead the tours and activities programme at Wilpena Resort, the gateway to the Flinders Ranges. Based at the Wilpena Pound Visitor Centre, you will work closely with reservations and front‑office teams to deliver memorable experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and coordinate guest transfers, tours and activity departures.
• Manage the activities team, including rostering, training and performance against financial targets.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, safety and compliance with travel regulations.
• Oversee cleanliness, compliance and maintenance of tour vehicles.
• Collaborate with external group tour managers and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Activities Manager in the resort or hospitality sector.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask daily logistics and guide rosters.
• Passion for outdoors, nature, wildlife, geology and Indigenous culture.
• Current Australian driver’s licence (MR preferred) and South Australian large‑vehicle accreditation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Rezdy booking software.
• Experience using RMS (Resort Management System).
