Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

United Fasteners Australia is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer for its Richlands branch in Brisbane. This full‑time position will manage the end‑to‑end accounts payable process and support the Branch Manager with administrative tasks to keep the branch running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and process supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets.
• Prepare and execute payment runs.
• Manage bank reconciliations, expense tracking and month‑end closing activities.
• Respond to supplier queries, reconcile statements and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist the Branch Manager with various administrative duties.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational abilities and effective communication.
• Punctual, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
• Team‑oriented and self‑motivated.
• Good customer service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
