Accounts Officer

About the role

ONCALL Group is seeking a motivated Accounts Officer to join its growing finance team supporting essential disability services. Reporting to the NDIS Finance Transformation Manager, you will ensure accurate billing, receipting and financial administration across a range of services.

Key responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation and receipting of bank payments.
• Process and submit invoices, including NDIS‑related billing and claims.
• Manage accounts receivable for non‑NDIS clients and support collection activities.
• Review service delivery data to confirm billing accuracy.
• Reconcile NDIS payments, resolve claim discrepancies, rejections and under‑payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite.
• Liaise with internal teams to investigate and resolve billing queries.
• Monitor participant funding balances and advise stakeholders of low funding.
• Ensure compliance with NDIS pricing arrangements, service codes and funding rules.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and financial systems.
• Assist with accounts payable functions and support audit activities as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
• Strong bank reconciliation and receipting experience.
• Experience processing invoices and managing accounts receivable.
• Knowledge of NDIS billing and claiming processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience using financial systems, ideally NetSuite.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
