About the role

We are a busy automotive service centre looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance team. The position can be part‑time or full‑time and involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

Process and reconcile invoices, payments and general expenses.
Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations with a focus on accuracy.
Assist with month‑end closing, ledger maintenance and data entry.
Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records.
Resolve billing inquiries and produce ad‑hoc reports as required.

Required profile

Previous experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role.
High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Experience using Xero accounting software.
Experience using MYOB accounting software.
