Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join Amer Sports’ finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead end‑to‑end financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring data accuracy and supporting strategic decisions across our global sports brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations and financial reporting deliverables.
• Oversee offshore shared services (AP, AR, financial reporting) and manage external audit relationships.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, tax obligations (BAS, income tax, transfer pricing) and payroll processes.
• Drive credit management, monitor debt and achieve DSO targets.
• Partner with HR, regional tax teams and global stakeholders to support financial performance and growth.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA/CPA qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting and analysis within a complex, global organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, including shared‑service environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and detail‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems – SAP ECC or S/4HANA.
• Reporting/planning tools – OneStream or similar.
• SOX control implementation and governance.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards.
