Accountant – Supply Chain Finance

About the role

This permanent full‑time position is with a well‑established family‑owned refrigerated distribution and cold‑storage business in Perth. The accountant will support the finance team by preparing management reports, handling general ledger and bank reconciliations, and ensuring accurate monthly close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements.
• Perform general ledger, bank and monthly accrual reconciliations.
• Process invoices, verify approvals and manage payments.
• Compile and review budgets, revenue, expenses and payroll entries.
• Explain billing and accounting policies to staff and management.
• Produce monthly financial statements and variance reports.

Required profile

• Formal degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum five years post‑graduate finance/accounting experience, preferably in supply‑chain or logistics.
• CA/CPA qualification or working towards it.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Reliable vehicle and unrestricted right to work in Australia.
