Accountant

About the role

Solventum is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance Team. The role involves supporting a range of financial processes, ensuring accurate records, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations, working closely with accounts payable, receivable, and outsourcing teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Execute accrual reconciliations for freight, warehousing, payroll, and workers compensation, posting accruals at month‑end.
• Maintain the general ledger by entering journal entries, posting transactions in ERP systems, and coordinating royalty/licence fee payments.
• Process sales invoices, credit notes, and manage inventory‑related journals and cost changes, requiring strong inventory and landed‑cost accounting knowledge.
• Liaise with other departments to gather data for financial reporting, support audits and tax filings, and respond to vendor, customer, or internal queries.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in large MNCs or ASX‑listed companies.
• Degree in accounting or finance.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or CA.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with large ERP systems.
• Experience in inventory accounting and landed‑cost accounting.
