Accountant – Construction Finance

About the role

Maple Living is seeking a motivated Accountant to support its finance team in the construction and town‑home development business. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end close and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Process intercompany recharges and prepare BAS statements.
• Produce monthly management and month‑to‑date reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis under the Finance Manager’s direction.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum a degree in Accounting; CA or CPA qualifications are desirable.
• Experience with accounting software such as Databuild, Xero or MYOB is advantageous.
• Background in construction, manufacturing or food & beverage sectors is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to review, interpret and communicate financial information.
• Excellent time‑management, multitasking and attention‑to‑detail.
