Account Receivable Officer

About the role

Join a well‑established business in the fast‑moving goods sector as an Accounts Receivable Specialist on a 12‑month contract. You will own a high‑volume portfolio and work within a collaborative finance team to improve processes and deliver results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑function AR across a portfolio of key accounts, including complex, high‑volume reconciliations.
• Perform bank and remittance reconciliations and allocate customer payments.
• Handle high‑volume shared inboxes and resolve customer queries promptly.
• Assist with month‑end reporting and support the broader AR function.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑function AR experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros).
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools as part of daily workflow.
• Proactive mindset with a track record of suggesting and driving process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
