Account Officer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Officer to join our finance team at our Strathfield South office. This full‑time position plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record invoices, payments and expenses.
• Maintain up‑to‑date ledgers and account records.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial and project reports for management review.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
• Support tax compliance and audit requirements.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on financial matters.
• Perform general accounting administration and data entry.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes.

Required profile

• Accounting qualification or certification; Mandarin speaking is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience in an Accounts Officer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional communication and collaborative teamwork.
• Reliability and discretion with sensitive financial information.
• Problem‑solving mindset and initiative.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
