Account Manager, Medium Business

About the role

The Account Manager for Medium Business in the ACT region will be the single point of accountability for a portfolio of 30‑50 medium‑size customers, generating up to $30M in annual revenue. You will meet customers face‑to‑face, manage the full account lifecycle and drive sustainable growth through cross‑selling and service improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end account management, including operational efficiency, relationship management and financial performance.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans, building senior‑level relationships and retaining revenue through contract renewals.
• Facilitate customer onboarding, system access setup, service level monitoring and act as the primary escalation point for systemic issues.
• Lead regular sales and service meetings to identify cross‑sell opportunities, address pain points and ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
• Coordinate interactions between customers and Australia Post specialists across service, sales, solution design and implementation.
• Document all sales and account activities in Salesforce to support sales enablement and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build long‑term trusted advisor relationships with senior executive stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Experience managing medium‑business accounts and delivering measurable revenue growth.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) usage for account documentation and reporting.
