About the role

CC Medical is recruiting two locum podiatrists for community and outreach work in Outback Queensland, working alongside a team of allied health clinicians. The start is ASAP, for 8-12 weeks with possible extension, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours to allow travel to outreach sites. Two locations are available.

Key responsibilities

Initial assessments and reviews
Diabetic foot assessments
General nail care and treatment
Biomechanical and orthotics
A generalist caseload mainly for low to moderate risk clients
Outreach by road and sometimes aircraft, including overnight travel, to Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander communities and the general population
