Yardsperson - Wacol

About the role

Ezyquip Hire is looking for an energetic and helpful Yardsperson in Wacol who takes pride in their work and delivers a high standard of general maintenance and housekeeping support. The role reports to the branch manager and keeps the equipment and workshop immaculate.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out general labour tasks around the yard
• Maintain the presentation of all equipment by washing and detailing
• Keep the workshop and yard clean and tidy
• Deliver and collect parts and consumables in the company vehicle
• Organise and maintain the yard, including general gardening and landscaping
• Load and unload equipment as required
• Monitor incoming parts and stock, receipt against picking slips and orders and allocate stock to the correct store locations
• Transport vehicles and site-based staff to and from the local airport
• Other tasks as directed

Required profile

• Manual driver's licence (LR licence preferred)
• Strong commitment to safety
• Able to work autonomously with minimal direction
• Good problem-solving and multitasking ability in a busy environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Required skills

• HRWL forklift licence (essential)
• TLID2004 - load and unload goods/cargo and TLIA1001 - secure cargo (desirable)
