Yard Team Member – Transport

About the role

The Yard Team Member – Transport works on the depot floor to ensure safe and efficient handling of vehicles throughout the compound and workshop. You will be responsible for moving, inspecting, and preparing vehicles for transport while adhering to strict safety and timing requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Safely manoeuvre vehicles in and around the compound, following all instructions and timeframes.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing vehicles for damage, faulty equipment, and accidents, and complete required documentation.
• Collect, deliver, and park vehicles as directed, obeying speed limits and safety zones.
• Marshall vehicles for loading and perform jump‑starts when needed.
• Conduct stock‑takes, collect fuel for the compound, and fuel vehicles as required.

Required profile

• Valid manual driver’s licence.
• Strong attention to detail and a safety‑first mindset.
• Automotive mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• People‑oriented, can‑do attitude with passion for cars.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
