Yard Operations Specialist – Brisbane

About the role

The Yard Operations Specialist will support efficient vehicle processing and movement within Tesla’s Brisbane storage facility. Working closely with the Yard Coordinator and third‑party logistics providers, you will help maintain accurate inventory, ensure timely vehicle relocations, and uphold safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and reposition cars within the compound as directed by the Yard Coordinator.
• Coordinate yard activities with external logistics providers and internal vendors.
• Monitor, record and report any damage claims arising in the yard.
• Escalate priority issues and assist the Tesla Logistics team with vehicle movements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce downtime and enhance safety.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work environment and follow all safety protocols.
• Provide occasional support to other departments, such as Service, when required.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar yard or logistics role.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with high numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently across multiple systems.
• Physical fitness to walk long distances in all weather conditions.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in yard operations.

Required skills

• Full local driver licence with an excellent safety record.
