Workplace Trainer - Civil Construction Training

About the role

RoadTek is hiring a Workplace Trainer for its Brisbane Operations Unit, based in Hemmant. The role coordinates and delivers technical, accredited and non-accredited training programs that support workforce capability, compliance and career development for road and civil construction projects across Queensland. It works closely with operational leaders, managers, supervisors and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver accredited and non-accredited civil construction training programs.
• Identify workforce capability needs and develop training solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Manage training schedules, records, licences and competency requirements through training management systems.
• Support the Civil Tradesperson Development Program and other workforce development initiatives.
• Monitor training performance, costs and key metrics, and report findings and recommendations to management.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders to drive workforce planning and capability outcomes.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with experience delivering training and developing workforce capability.
• Strong organisational skills, commitment to quality outcomes and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, training or workforce development is highly regarded.
• Willingness to work some evening (after 6pm) and weekend shifts, as the unit operates 24/7.
