Workplace Relations Consultant

About the role

Peninsula, an HR, employment relations and health and safety advisory firm backed by a large privately owned business services group, is hiring a Workplace Relations Consultant in Sydney. The role supports small to medium enterprises across key industries, delivering HR and employment relations advice mainly by phone and email.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, solution-oriented HR/employment relations advice, primarily over the phone and email.
• Answer client queries on disciplinary actions, performance management, workplace investigations, terminations and legislation compliance.
• Guide clients through complex workplace relations matters such as performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, award interpretation and legislative compliance.

Required profile

• Exposure to Award classifications, the Fair Work Act and NES, or enterprise agreements.
• Ability to communicate clearly, with advice that is commercially focused and easy to understand.
• Ability to guide clients through complex workplace relations matters.
