Workplace & Facilities Manager

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Workplace & Facilities Manager in Adelaide / Tarndanya, based in its Internal Firm Services line of service. The role is offered as a 12-month maximum-term parental leave cover. You will partner with teams across professional services and corporate environments to deliver high-quality workplace and facilities services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality services across client floors and meeting rooms, and manage facilities and tenancy-related issues
• Oversee Welcome Crew and catering services, including supplier management, and keep spaces well presented, functional and compliant
• Lead, coach and mentor a diverse team, and participate in workplace projects
• Collaborate with Building Management, suppliers and contractors, and coordinate internal moves, occupancy reporting and car park allocations
• Support invoicing, finance reporting and facilities administration, and escalate issues relating to office fit-out or workplace integrity

Required profile

• Proven experience leading diverse teams and managing a small team of operations employees
• Proven experience in facilities management and in managing maintenance activities and contractors
• Strong business acumen, with budget management and financial skills
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, and to manage competing priorities independently
• Discretion and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Desirable: intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google applications; background in corporate, customer service, hospitality or retail
