Windows & VMware Engineer – Infrastructure Associate (Sydney)

About the role

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Associate to provide Windows and VMware support for its clients in Sydney. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise‑grade virtual and Windows environments while ensuring high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and manage VMware vSphere environments, including vCenter, vROps, vSphere Lifecycle Manager (Update Manager), Horizon/View, NSX and vCloud Director.
• Perform Windows Server installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Manage Active Directory services such as AD DS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, ADFS and Active Directory Certificate Services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across virtual and Windows platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support client projects and ensure compliance with best practices.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere and related tools.
• Extensive experience in Windows Server administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, ADFS and AD CS.
• Proven ability to resolve complex technical problems in a fast‑paced environment.
