About the role
Egis Group is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to provide consultancy and technical services for innovative water solutions across diverse projects locally, nationally and internationally.
Key responsibilities
- Assess water infrastructure such as dams, levees and drainage works from planning through design and operation.
- Apply flood modelling (hydrologic and hydraulic) and water balance modelling for assessments including flood impact, water quality, watercourse diversion design, and erosion control.
- Develop water management plans and support monitoring and rehabilitation of watercourses.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in water resources engineering within a consultancy environment.
- Relevant tertiary engineering degree (Civil or Environmental).
- Professional registration (CPEng and/or RPEQ) or willingness to obtain.
Required skills
- Flood modelling (hydrologic and hydraulic).
- Water balance modelling.
- Water quality assessment.
- Watercourse diversion design and rehabilitation.
- Erosion and sediment control techniques.
