Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator – FIFO – Full Time

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team in Brisbane on a FIFO roster. The role involves daily inspection, operation and maintenance of water treatment plant systems to ensure safe and efficient performance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair plant components such as intakes, pipelines, storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment, pumps, boilers and controls.
• Support filtration and chemical treatment processes and monitor plant performance.
• Conduct water sampling and testing in line with operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports and maintenance records.
• Carry out general maintenance duties and arrange major repairs as needed.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (NWP30222) – mandatory.
• Current Open Manual C Class driver’s licence.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a water treatment plant.
• Experience with water sampling and testing techniques.
• Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance and teamwork.
