Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

ANC is recruiting a Site Operations Supervisor / Transport Supervisor / Warehouse Supervisor for its client's site in Truganina, Victoria. The role oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, leads a team to meet operational goals and ensures service delivery meets client expectations. Working hours are flexible and may cover AM or PM shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Safety management: follow safety protocols, identify incidents, near misses and hazards and report them promptly
• Team leadership: lead, motivate and develop a high-performance team, giving ongoing performance feedback
• Warehouse operations: oversee manual handling such as loading, scanning and sorting goods, and assist delivery professionals with loading in line with safety standards
• Client collaboration: work with the client to manage the shipment lifecycle and handle discrepancies
• Process improvement: assess and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Safety and compliance: ensure proper use of PPE and uniform requirements and a clean, safe workplace

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics or operations, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
• Strong understanding of warehouse management, safety regulations and process optimisation
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to work with internal teams and clients
• Proactive, problem-solving and analytical, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
