VR General Practitioner - DPA Location, Cairns

About the role

Plaza Family Health, a modern, established mixed-billing general practice in an eligible DPA location, is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join its team on a full-time or part-time basis. The clinic serves the southern Cairns community and offers an opportunity for eligible GPs under the moratorium to build a busy practice with the support of an experienced, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Care for a broad and diverse patient population, including young families, working professionals and older adults.
• Provide general family medicine, with support to develop interests in chronic disease management, women's health, men's health, children's health, mental health, preventive care and skin cancer medicine.
• Work with clinical autonomy and flexible consulting arrangements to maintain work-life balance.

Required profile

• Eligible GP under the moratorium.
• Interest in general family medicine and/or one or more of the listed areas of practice.
