VR General Practitioner – Blacktown

About the role

A VR GP is sought to join the Myhealth Blacktown Westpoint team in a newly expanded bulk-billing medical centre located in the Westpoint shopping centre. The practice works across Thursday, Friday and weekends, and is open to part-time or full-time hours as negotiated. It welcomes applications from GPs with a strong interest in Occ Health / Workers Comp.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general practice care, including workers compensation, injury management (acute and ongoing), CTP injury management and pre-employment medicals
• Cover fitness-for-work assessments, medical reports and drug testing including chain of custody (AS4308)
• Deliver corporate flu and Q-Fever vaccination programs, corporate health checks and surgical procedures
• Perform skin checks and CASA aviation medical appointments

Required profile

• Current specialist AHPRA registration with no restrictions on practice
• Vocational registration, ideally completed via FRACGP or equivalent
• Availability to work part-time or full-time hours as negotiated
