Vocational Trainer (VET) – School Level

About the role

Redbank Plains State High School is looking for two enthusiastic Vocational Trainers to deliver Certificate I‑III VET programs. You will work closely with students, school leadership and industry partners to build practical workplace skills and support successful transitions to further training or employment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging vocational training aligned to VET competencies and workplace expectations.
• Support students in developing employability skills, job readiness and positive workplace behaviours.
• Monitor student progress, attendance, competency completion and work‑placement requirements to ensure compliance with RTO and ASQA standards.
• Liaise with industry, employers, community organisations and other schools to expand career pathway opportunities.
• Maintain accurate training records, documentation and compliance processes.
• Assist with the management and upkeep of training resources, equipment and consumable stock.
