Virtual Registered Nurse – Triage (Remote)

About the role

Amplar Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Virtual Health team as a Triage Nurse. Working from home, you will provide clinical advice, health information and appropriate referrals to callers across Australia, helping them navigate the health system.

Key responsibilities

• Assess callers' health concerns and determine urgency.
• Provide evidence‑based clinical advice and health education.
• Refer callers to suitable health professionals or services.
• Document interactions accurately in the virtual health platform.
• Adhere to roster requirements, including availability between 7:00 AM and 3:00 AM, Monday to Saturday.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to make sound triage decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficient use of a computer, internet browser and virtual consultation tools.
• Ability to multitask listening, typing and navigating online resources simultaneously.
