Virtual Finance Manager – Junior Virtual CFO Advisor

About the role

Simic Financial is seeking a Virtual Finance Manager to work alongside a Virtual CFO Advisor. Based in Geelong with the flexibility to work full‑time or part‑time, you will support a diverse portfolio of fast‑growing businesses while developing your own client relationships and progressing toward a full CFO advisory role.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on financial management and strategic advisory to clients across sectors such as hospitality, tech startups, and SMEs.
• Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, and reports that inform growth decisions and capital‑raising activities.
• Engage directly with clients to guide them through financial decisions, expansions, and profitability improvements.
• Design and implement scalable financial plans tailored to each client’s objectives.
• Oversee internal bookkeeping team and mentor client bookkeepers.
• Collaborate with the Virtual CFO Advisor to deliver actionable recommendations.

• Ambitious finance professional looking to transition from traditional accounting to advisory work.
