Video Content Producer

About the role

We are seeking a creative Video Content Producer to join the SmartCo Media production team at Private Media. The role combines end‑to‑end video production with hands‑on editing, delivering engaging content for agency clients and our editorial channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present video concepts, scripts, shot‑lists and storyboards aligned with client briefs.
• Lead pre‑production logistics, including briefing calls, shoot schedules, callsheets, permits and talent releases.
• Produce a variety of video formats such as event highlights, studio podcasts, case‑study documentaries, live‑streamed webinars, news packages and product explainers.
• Manage on‑set direction and interview talent to capture authentic, compelling footage.
• Oversee post‑production workflow: editing, colour grading, audio mixing, graphics integration and quality‑assurance.
• Maintain organized project files and timelines to enable seamless hand‑over to other team members.
• Coordinate client feedback with emotional intelligence, balancing expectations and creative vision.
• Travel nationally and occasionally internationally to shoot on location.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on video production and editing experience, preferably in a media or agency environment.
• Strong people skills with the ability to put interview subjects at ease and extract engaging answers.
• Proven ability to manage the full production lifecycle from concept through delivery.
• Self‑sufficient storyteller who can craft narratives independently during editing.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro (advanced, 5+ years).
• Adobe After Effects (practical level for templates, keying and simple animations).
• Graphic integration, key‑framing and colour‑grading within Premiere Pro.
• Project‑management tools such as Asana or equivalent.
• Audio mixing and music track blending for polished final cuts.
