Vessel Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Vessel Logistics Supervisor will coordinate vessel scheduling and offshore logistics planning for a marine terminal supporting energy sector operations. This role ensures effective communication between offshore and onshore teams and contributes to safe, efficient logistics activities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for offshore logistics planning and vessel scheduling.
• Gather operational inputs from offshore and onshore stakeholders to develop vessel schedules.
• Plan bulk cargo and bunkering activities to support offshore logistics.
• Coordinate vessel movements, berthing and loading requirements with the shore base operator.
• Support cargo planning and load‑out activities with warehouse teams.
• Distribute approved schedules and operational documentation to relevant parties.
• Participate in daily operational calls to align logistics with business needs.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with month‑end lift and tonnage reporting.
• Prepare documentation for audit and compliance requirements.
• Provide operational support outside standard business hours when required.

Required profile

• Familiarity with marine operations and compliance standards.
• Understanding of inventory tracking and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders in an offshore logistics environment.
• Desirable experience in offshore logistics, shore base operations or vessel operations.
• Seagoing experience on offshore vessels is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of logistics systems and ability to support user training.
