About the role

The Emerald Star Hotel Motel is looking for a Venue Support Officer. This is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, with flexible working hours available for the right candidate. The role covers administrative and operational support for the venue.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete daily point-of-sale reconciliations and balance financial records
  • Maintain accurate employee records, training files and venue databases
  • Manage stock control, assist with stocktakes and identify cash or stock variances
  • Ensure team member visa obligations, compliance and audit standards are met
  • Review venue-generated sales reports and share feedback with key management
  • Support the venue team on the floor during peak trading hours

Required profile

  • Professional, friendly service by phone, email and in person
  • Understanding of the importance of privacy and confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Ability to keep the administration area organised and efficient
  • Hands-on, team-first approach and willingness to support the floor when trade is busy
