Upper Primary Teacher (Years 3–6)

About the role

Aranmore Catholic College is seeking an enthusiastic Upper Primary Teacher to join its vibrant learning community. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate programmes for students in Years 3–6 while upholding the Catholic ethos of the school.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality learning programmes for Years 3–6, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing.
• Assess student learning accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback in line with SCSA Achievement Standards.
• Develop innovative teaching resources and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and contribute to co‑curricular and whole‑school activities.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and staff while upholding Child Safe School guidelines.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
• Relevant tertiary qualification in primary education.
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school or willingness to obtain it.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Commitment to the CEWA Child Safe Framework and the Catholic mission of the school.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and SCSA Achievement Standards.
• Ability to design and implement engaging, rigorous learning experiences for upper primary students.
• Effective classroom management and assessment skills.
