Underground Service Crew (FIFO Perth)

About the role

Gold Fields is hiring a Service Crew member for its Granny Smith mine on a permanent, full-time FIFO basis from Perth, on an 8/6 day, 7/7 night rotating roster. You will install and maintain underground infrastructure and support services that keep the mine running safely and efficiently, including ventilation, water, power, compressed air and pump systems. Reporting to the Supervisor Underground Production, the role suits hands-on, problem-solving operators who work well in a team.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain underground services such as ventilation, water, power, compressed air and pump systems.
• Operate tools and mobile equipment such as EWPs, ITCs, light vehicles and hydraulic machinery to support underground operations.
• Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance while managing risk and minimising downtime.
• Assist development and production crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Required profile

• Previous underground mining experience as a Nipper and Truck Driver.
• Strong safety focus and compliance mindset.
• Commitment to teamwork, collaboration and strong communication skills.
• Physically fit and experienced working in challenging environments.
• Able to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance.

Required skills

• Current manual driver's licence.
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at Heights card.
