About the role
A permanent Ultrasound Modality Lead position in Bairnsdale, Victoria, about 2 hours from Mount Hotham, where there are ski fields, lakes and outdoor activities. The client has two sites: an 80-bed hospital and a CBD site, each with two ultrasound rooms equipped with Canon Aplio i700 machines.
Key responsibilities
- Staff leadership: manage the department and a small team of sonographers
- Caseload covering general, obstetric second and third trimester scans, and some basic vascular including DVT
- Work Monday to Friday, with no weekend or on-call work
- Shifts of 8:00am–4:30pm and 8:30am–5:00pm
