Tutor Sonographer

About the role

An enthusiastic Tutor Sonographer is needed to support Lumus Imaging’s North East Sonographer Training Program, primarily based at the new Golden Grove site in South Australia. The role will also cover Royal Park and Modbury and focuses on mentoring and upskilling trainee, junior and experienced sonographers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one training for beginner sonographers and upskill more experienced staff.
• Develop and deliver sonographer training programs and CPD initiatives.
• Present educational content through various media and techniques.
• Collaborate with radiologists and use the latest ultrasound technology.
• Manage and work within a team environment, ensuring quality patient care.

Required profile

• Qualified sonographer with extensive experience across musculoskeletal, vascular, general, obstetrics and interventional ultrasound.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive change.
• Strong commitment to quality, patient care and continuous improvement.
• ASAR accreditation and ability to obtain Working with Children and National Police clearances.
