Truck Driver (HC) - Karratha Steel Centre

About the role

InfraBuild's Karratha Steel Centre is hiring a truck driver to deliver steel products to customers using an HC (heavy combination) truck. The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and sits within the InfraBuild business, which is described as a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and a Sustainability Champion. Working hours are 7.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver steel products safely to customers using an HC truck
• Provide professional customer service at delivery sites
• Comply with Australian heavy vehicle, WHS and transport regulations, policies and procedures
• Assist with general warehouse operations, including picking and packing orders, loading and unloading vehicles and operating equipment such as forklifts

Required profile

• HC (Heavy Combination) truck licence
• Some driving experience is essential
• Strong customer service skills and a safety-first mindset
• No prior steel or product knowledge required
• Experience with forklift operation and load restraint is highly regarded but not essential

• Base rate of $35.25 per hour plus a driver allowance of $6.21 per hour and a $33,500 annual remote location allowance
