Transport Scheduler

About the role

BevChain, a subsidiary of Linfox, is looking for an experienced Transport Scheduler to manage daily routing and scheduling for both company and subcontractor fleets. You will optimise delivery performance, maintain transport planning system accuracy and ensure compliance with safety and legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport planning, routing, scheduling and site communication for all fleets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, legislative, customer delivery windows and commercial requirements, including DIFOT and payload optimisation.
• Maintain TMS accuracy, generate reports, manage redelivery processes and resolve delivery issues.
• Liaise with internal teams, customers and vendors to meet delivery schedules and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Prepare operational reports, KPIs and management information on time.
• Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to Linfox/BevChain policies, Code of Conduct and WHS requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transport scheduling, load planning or logistics coordination in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of transport compliance, Chain of Responsibility obligations, load configurations, weights and DIFOT performance.
• Confident user of TMS/WMS systems with high attention to data accuracy.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Demonstrates a strong safety mindset aligned with company values.
