Training Officer – Fusion Program

About the role

The Fusion Program at NSW Health Pathology is driving a major transformation of pathology services across New South Wales. As a Training Officer you will join a collaborative team that delivers high‑impact learning experiences to prepare staff for new systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the training strategy and plan under the direction of the Training Manager.
• Deliver online and face‑to‑face training sessions on newly implemented laboratory information systems.
• Provide adoption support to staff and clients using the new technology.
• Design and develop training materials, including job aids and e‑learning content.
• Work closely with the Fusion Program Team, change management, communications and digital health analysts.

Required profile

• Experience in pathology or a broader healthcare environment (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver skills‑based and software application training in a large, complex service.
• Strong record of adult learning delivery and instructional design.
• Adaptable, team‑oriented professional who embraces change and supports peers.
