Training Advisor

About the role

The Training Advisor will ensure that all training and competency requirements are met for the Ranger Project rehabilitation programme. Working both on‑site and in the office, you will oversee training activities, verify skill levels and maintain compliance with governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee in‑field training sessions and verify competency through observable performance.
• Ensure training and work‑authorisation processes are applied consistently across the project.
• Audit and validate training records to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Use the Workday Learning Management System to monitor workforce readiness and manage training prerequisites.
• Maintain accurate, current, and auditable training data.

Required profile

• Experienced training professional comfortable in a high‑risk operational environment.
• Strong judgement and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Hands‑on approach with willingness to travel between field sites and the office.
• Commitment to upholding standards and ensuring compliance.

Required skills

• Workday Learning Management System (LMS) proficiency.
• Training compliance and competency verification.
• Auditing of training records.
