Trainer – Mission Critical Command & Control Systems

About the role

Thales is seeking a Trainer to deliver specialised training for mission‑critical Command and Control systems. The role supports both domestic and international customers, requiring travel and on‑site delivery of training programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise for Training Needs Analyses and Training Concepts.
• Review, update and author end‑user training courses and supporting material.
• Plan, manage and coordinate training schedules, delivering both ad‑hoc and scheduled sessions.
• Assess and evaluate trainee performance, providing feedback and certification.
• Contribute subject‑matter input to system development and generate training artefacts.
• Assist operators with on‑the‑job training and support.
• Participate in departmental, project and service/technical review meetings.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Analytical intelligence experience, preferably in secure ICT environments.
• Interest or experience with geospatial tools and data formats.
• Nationally recognised instructor qualifications or demonstrable training experience.
• Australian citizenship and current Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance (or clearance held within the last 12 months).
